Accuracy matters. If an article contains a material factual error, we want to know about it.

What counts as a correction?

A correction addresses a material factual mistake, such as an incorrect score, date, player, quote attribution, result or other verifiable claim.

Updates

Developing stories may receive updates when new information becomes available. An update is not necessarily a correction.

How to report an error

Use Contact Us and select “Editorial correction”. Include the article URL, the specific statement, why it is incorrect and a reliable source supporting the correction.

Editorial review

We review correction requests rather than automatically changing a story based on an unsupported claim. If a correction is accepted, the relevant passage may be updated and a correction note may be added when appropriate.

Reader feedback

We welcome good-faith feedback, including disagreement with analysis. Disagreement alone is not necessarily a factual error.
